The roots of the company stem from early automotive which loved the aspects of FLEXOR® in non-production components for fast processing and turnaround in the maintenance departments. 

No - we ship everything from our Detroit plant. However, we do ship globally from this location and generally have very short lead times.

No - not particularly. It is important to back off on feeds and speeds in the elevated hardness'.  It is important to note that FLEXOR® does not use Nickel as its primary hardening alloy which will tend to work harden during cutting. FLEXOR® is often compared to 4130 for machinability ratings.  

No, not if it is supplied in the normalized condition. Many of our customers purchase FLEXOR® in the normalized condition which is 28-32 HRC. This can be quenched and tempered from this state without requiring annealing.
